Considering my company carries the name of “Optimum
Success,” and that my message is entrenched with it, an
explanation of its’ meaning is in order. Optimum success is
when you become not who you want to be, or envision
yourself being, rather becoming everything you are
predestined to be. This is the only true way to live life
at its absolute optimum.
The number one question that exists is what my IT in life –
what is my purpose? It’s difficult to decipher, but often
times it’s staring you right in the face. I was determined
to become a great NBA player, but I was blatantly shown
over and over again that I was designed to be a
motivational speaker. Whenever I spoke in front of people
the responses were overwhelmingly similar.... “That’s a
gift”….. “You should be a motivational speaker.” It was
just that one day in my speech class that I looked into
those people’s eyes who were telling me this, and saw their
looks of sincerity which forced me to give up my Jesse
Owens rendition and heed my life’s calling.
Determination is a key to success, but sometimes misguided
determination is detrimental to your design. We are
ever-evolving beings….some desires, when actualized will be
with you for a lifetime, others are just seasonal and
preparing you for your TRUE IT. Successful people recognize
the changing seasons in their lives and make the necessary
adjustments to maximize them. We know in our hearts when
the seasons have come to an end. This may require you to
let go of some things and take what are seemingly steps
backwards.
You see, destiny’s dance is taught by an instructor named
FAITH. She teaches very elusive dance movements. To
onlookers it seems as if you are taking steps backwards,
but when the dance is over you are light years ahead of
where anyone, even you, expected you would be.
Your plan for your life resides in this natural realm, and
is entrenched with your fallible human nature. “The Plan”
is housed in the realm of the supernatural, where your
Creator resides, and is exemplified by a perfect nature,
which translates to the CAN’T FAIL plan for your life. As
you are performing destiny’s dance, she will unveil her
secrets to you as you begin to catch glimpses of what your
heart always knew existed.
Optimum success is when you discover the person you were
designed to be even before creation. This is the person who
that still small voice says you are. Yes, that voice
telling you that your dream is possible is always the one
to follow. Your dream is a perfect extension of God that
He’s placed inside of you. That still small voice is
nothing more than God conversing with the perfect extension
of Himself that He placed inside of you. If success has
eluded you, perhaps you should begin eves dropping on these
conversations. The minute that you believe the person they
are talking about is you, is the minute you’ve arrived at
the doorstep of your best life possible!
